- Both the MKI and MKII were designed to be scalable and easily adaptable to the turbine system under supervision, whether it was a single 4000 HP unit or an entire 400 Mw power station. - The board has two lines of transistors. There are nine transistors in each line. The board is just labeled with "Q1" and "Q2," as all components in each line are labeled as one component. A line of eighteen capacitors has a similar marking that alternates between "C1" and "C2" from top to bottom.
- A polyester vinyl capacitor designated "C3" is also located away from this line on the board. There are multiple lines of resistors and capacitors on the board. Not all components have identification labels. The card connects with the Speedtronic system via 51 metal pin connectors affixed to one edge. These pins are communication devices.
