IC3600AFGB1C1B is a Function Generator Card and is part of the GE Speedtronic Mark I & II series and a part of the gas turbine control panel. These two Speedtronic series, which were the first two commercially available from General Electric, can handle gas or steam turbines ranging in size from separate systems rated at 4000 hp to bigger systems with 400 Mw combined cycles. Start-up, acceleration, load, and the fuel system are all controlled by the Mark I and Mark II, which also protect and monitor over-speed, vibration, flame, and over-temperature, and sequence the turbine for ignition, normal starts, and stops, as well as emergency, stop.

• The numbers ten, twenty, thirty, forty, and fifty are printed on one edge of the circuit board. A row of twenty-five individual right-angled pins is placed above these numbers. These pins connect the board to the larger Mark I or Mark II system's wiring.

• The circuit board has four trim potentiometers on its surface. Trimmer resistors can be used for variable resistance or for circuit tuning, calibration, and adjustment. Eleven transistors of various designs are used on the board. One transistor is surrounded by a heatsink.

• The circuit board is outfitted with a variety of resistors, including carbon composite, wire wound, and metal film. Two large wire-wound resistors (R38 and R39) are labeled 2147845 500 5W and 2147442 750 5W. The capacitors on the board are mostly made of polyester vinyl. It's worth noting that many of the components have been installed vertically.
