531X171TMAAFG2 Functional Description

The Relay interface card allows for sophisticated communication between the UPS and the computer (software required). The card is designed to be installed in the option slot of Digital EnergyTM VH Series UPS models. The card includes a USB connector, a 9-pole sub-D connector, and four potential free changeover contacts that represent: power failure, general alarm, battery low, and bypass active. The USB/RS232/Relay Card's identification number is 18802.

Features

  • The GE manual includes advice on how to properly wire the board between the damaged board and the new board. For instance, the connector is ACOM on the old board and AN1 on the new board if a wire is connected to terminal 24 on the faulty board. On the new board, merely switch the wire from the 4TB assembly to the 3TB assembly.
  • The board is wrapped in a static-protective bag when you open the box, as you will see. So that static charge cannot accumulate on the board, keep it covered. Hold the board by its edges if you need to pick it up. In other words, avoid pressing the board's components or solder points when holding it.
