Features

• Proximity probes are easily interchangeable and do not require calibration or specific tools. Interchangeability is a significant benefit. Each probe, cable, and Proximitor had to be calibrated to match one another in a unique set in the early days of eddy current system development.
• A calibrated match was required whenever a component of the system was to be replaced. This meant that each vibration location on a machine might require its own spare. On a typical four-bearing machine, the factory may need to store or calibrate a wide range of parts, which is an expensive, complex, and time-consuming task.
• Probe Relative Humidity - Less than a 3% change in Average Scale Factor (ASF) when tested in 93 percent humidity for up to 56 days in line with IEC standard 68 2 3.
