330854-080-24-05 is a 3300 XL 25mm High-Temperature FluidLoc Cable (8.0 Meters) manufactured by Bently Nevada and used in a proximity Transducer system. The 3300 XL 25 mm Proximity Sensor, an extension cable, and a separate 25 mm probe make up the 3300 XL 25 mm Transducer System. This system has a linear range of 12.7 mm thanks to the 0.787 V/mm (20 mV/mil) output (500 mils).

330854-080-24-05 Functional Description

  • Based on this linear range, the 3300 XL 25 mm Transducer System is appropriate for detecting differential expansion (DE), which is brought on by a difference in growth rates between the turbine rotor and the machine stator, on mid-size to large steam turbine generators. The 3300 XL 25 mm probe is made to be as durable as possible in the most challenging steam turbine DE conditions.
  • It can function continuously and retain accuracy in temperatures as high as 200 °C (392 °F) and can withstand brief exposure to temperatures as high as 250 °C (482 °F).
  • The GE / Bently Nevada 3300 XL 25 mm Transducer System has a small design that allows it to be put in either a high-density DIN-rail installation or a more traditional panel mount arrangement. Because of its improved RFI/EMI immunity, the 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor can be CE marked in Europe without any specific mounting requirements. This RFI immunity also protects the transducer system from being harmed by neighboring high frequency radio waves.
  • SpringLoc terminal strips on the Proximitor Sensor require no special installation tools and allow for faster, more durable field wiring connections.

The FluidLoc cable (standard on all 25 mm probes) and the front and back seats of the 25 mm probe work together to keep moisture out of the probe tip. To keep the connectors clean, disposable connector protector installation tools and connector protectors are included with each probe and cable.
