The standard 3300 XL 8 mm 5-metre system also completely complies with the API 670 Standard (4th Edition) for mechanical configuration, linear range, accuracy, and temperature stability.
• This level of performance is provided by all 3300 XL 8 mm proximity transducer systems, which also offer total interchangeability of probes, extension cables, and Proximitor sensors, removing the need to match or bench calibrate individual components.
• Each component of the 3300 XL 8 mm Transducer System is backwards compatible and interchangeable4 with non-XL 3300 series 5 mm and 8 mm transducer system components5. This compatibility includes the 3300 5 mm probe, which is useful in applications where an 8 mm probe would be too large for the limited mounting area.
