Functional Description

146085-01 is a Power Cable developed by Bently Nevada. It is a part of Bently Nevada System Display. Can connect up to two displays to each 3500 rack, and each display needs an available slot in the 3500 rack for inserting its corresponding DIM. If the display isn't mounted on the front, the cable connecting the DIM and the display can be either from the front of the 3500 rack or from the I/O module at the rear of the rack. For applications needing a cable longer than 100 feet, the External Power Supply and Cable Adapter must be used. If the application uses the backlit Display Unit, an External Power Supply is required. Two types of External Power Supplies are available: one for connecting to a 115 Vac power source, and the other for connecting to 230 Vac.

System Features

  • Power Consumption: The maximum power consumption varies based on the components. For the Display Unit and Display Interface Module, the maximum power consumption is 15.5 watts. For the -01 Display Unit, it's 5.6 watts, and for the -02 Display Unit, it's 12.0 watts.
  • Data Types: The system is designed to gather various types of data, including current values and the current alarm status. This is accomplished through a high-speed internal network that facilitates the collection and transmission of this data.
  • OK LED: Within the system, there's an LED indicator designated as the "OK LED." This LED serves the purpose of signaling the proper operational status of the Display Interface Module. When lit, it indicates that the module is functioning as expected.
  • TX/RX LED: Another LED, labeled as the "TX/RX LED," is responsible for conveying information about communication activities. Specifically, this LED illuminates to signify communication interactions between the Display Interface Module and other modules present within the 3500 rack. When active, it indicates ongoing communication activity; when inactive, it suggests a lack of communication at that moment.
