135813-01 is a Display Interface I/O Module developed by Bently Nevada. The System Display is intended to meet the criteria of API Standard 670 and to give a local or remote visual indication of all 3500 Machinery protection System information housed in the rack, such as System Event Lists, Alarm Event Lists, and so on.

Functional Description

  • The 3500 Rack Configuration Software is used to configure the 3500/93 System Display.
  • Face mounting, 19-inch EIA rack mounting, panel mounting, and independent mounting are all options for the display.
  • Every 3500 rack can support up to two displays, and each display requires one vacant 3500 rack slot for the insertion of its matching DIM.
  • When the display is not face-mounted, the cable connection between the DIM and the Display can be made from either the front of the 3500 racks or the I/O module at the back of the rack.
  • The 3500 Transient Data Interface (TDI) connects the 3500 monitoring system to the Bently Nevada System 1 TM machinery management software. The functions of a 3500/20 frame interface module (RIM) and a communication processor, such as TDXnet, are combined in TDI. TDI runs in the 3500 frame's RIM slot and is used in conjunction with M series monitors (3500 / 40M, 3500 / 42M, and so on) to continuously collect steady-state and transient waveform data and transfer it to the host computer software via Ethernet.
  • TDI has standard static data collection, but transient or dynamic data can also be collected with optional channel-enabled disks. In addition to integrating communication processor functions into the 3500 framework, TDI has several other improvements over previous communication processors.

135813-01 Features

  • RS422 interface hardware
  • Protocol: Supports GE's proprietary Bently Nevada protocol and Modbus protocol based on the AEG PI-MBUS300 Rev. E Reference Manual.
