FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION:

IS210TCSAS1A is a Fuel Skid Interface Board manufactured and designed by General Electric as part of the Mark VIe Series used in GE Distributed Control Systems. The Fuel Skid Interface Board (TCSA), located in core, interfaces with the XDSA board on the fuel skid for Dry Low Emissions (DLE) applications. The TCSA board decodes the signals from the high-resolution pressure transducers for the 196 processors on the UCIB board. The signals from XDSA are connected to the TBSA terminal board in position eight of the core. The TCSA board reads them via the P3 connector,

TCSA CONNECTORS:

  • 2PL . Power from the TCPS board in .
  • Ground Chassis ground to the 1TB terminal board in .
  • P3 . Provides 12 V dc power to TBSA and receives pressure signals from TBSA, which interfaces to the XDSA board on the fuel skid.
  • P4 . Provides 12 V dc power to TBSA, which interfaces to the FMVED motor controller

TCSA PRESSURE TRANSDUCER INTERFACE:

The TCSA board signals are read from the pressure transducers by the XDSA board on the fuel skid. The signals from the XDSA board are sent to the TBSA terminal board, which transfers them to the TCSA board over the P3 connector. The TCSA board decodes the RS422 protocol signals and writes them to the UCIB board for processing by the 196 processor. The TCSA board also provides the power for the pressure transducers and FMVED motor controllers.
