  • A single EGDM board is used in simplex systems. Three are needed for redundant systems. The three boards are then set up as a Controller that receives data from the active DSPX, a Master 1 that gives the drive signal to the Attenuator Module's sense resistor, and a Master 2 that provides the drive signal to the Attenuator Module's sense resistor.
