DS200XDSAG1A is a Transducer Interface Terminal Board manufactured and designed by General Electric as part of the Mark V Series used in GE Speedtronic Gas Turbine Control Systems. The Transducer Interface (XDSA) terminal board is designed to be installed next to one or more Honeywell® Smart Pressure Transducers of type LG-1237 that support serial communications. Four cables with DB-25 connectors on either end that are compatible with Honeywell sensors are used to transmit serial data communications and deliver 12 V dc input power to the board. Two separate circuits are built into the board in a redundant sensor setup. To establish sensor addresses and choose the serial communications termination resistance, jumpers are available. Several XDSA boards can be connected together in a single system thanks to XDSA's characteristics.
Terminals 1, 2, 9, and 10 are supplied with 12 V dc 5% by two DPWA terminal boards. For RS-422 multidrop communications, use terminals 3 through 8 and 11 through 16. Two separate boards can be used on each XDSA terminal board. On each end of the board, one per sector, there is a stab-on-ground connection. Four pressure sensors are connected to the board using cables with DB25 connections on either end.
The board's bottom has the input terminal 1 and output connection P1. At terminals 1 (positive) and 2, an input power of 12 V dc 5% is applied (negative). A control sends out serial transmissions, with the transmission path termination set by jumper JP1, which are received on terminals 3 (positive) and 4 (negative). Terminals 5 (positive) and 6 are the locations for the serial output of connected pressure sensors (negative). According to the installation section, terminals 7 (positive) and 8 (negative) offer an additional XDSA board a pass-through path. The jumpers JP3 and JP4 control which device address is selected.
