FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION:

IS200TBQAH1A is a Thermocouple Termination Module manufactured and designed by General Electric as part of the Mark VI Series used in GE Speedtronic Gas Turbine Control Systems. The Thermocouple Termination Module (TBQAH1A) is located in the R1 and R5 cores. The TBQAH1A terminal board can receive 45 thermocouple input signals. The TBQAH1A in R1 distributes its input signals as follows: 15 signals (thermocouples #1 through #15) to TCQA in R1, 15 signals (thermocouples #16 through #30) to TCQA in R2 core, and 15 signals (thermocouples #31 through #45) to TCQA in R3. The TBQA board in R5 can receive 42 thermocouple input signals, all of which are connected to the TCCA board in R5. The TBQA board also provides the cold junction compensation circuits.

TBQAH1A CONNECTIONS:

• JAR - The TCQA board in the R1 core receives cold junction signal, and thermocouple signals #1 through #15 from the R1 core. Writes to the TCCA board in the R5 core the cold junction signal, the thermocouple signals #1 through #15 from the R5 core.

• JAS - Writes the thermocouple signals #16 through #30 and the cold junction signal to the TCQA board in the R2 core from the R1 core. The thermocouple signals #16 through #30, and the cold junction signal, are written from the R5 core to the TCCA board in the R5 core.

• JAT - The TCQA board in the R3 core receives cold junction signal and thermocouple signals #31 through #45 from the R1 core. The TCCA board in the R5 core is read by writing the thermocouple signals #31 through #42 and the cold junction signal from the R5 core.
