FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION:

IS200DRLYH1B is a Relay Output Terminal Board manufactured and designed by General Electric as part of the Mark VI Series used in GE Speedtronic Gas Turbine Control Systems. A small relay output terminal board made for wall installation is called the Simplex Relay Output (DRLY) terminal board (not DIN-rail mounting). The board connects to the VCCC, VCRC, or VTUR processor board with a single cable and features 12 form-C dry contact output relays. The larger TRLY terminal board's larger 37-pin cable connector is the same. For a total of 24 contact outputs, two DRLY boards can be coupled to VCCC, VCRC, or VTUR. The only known model of this board is the simplex model. 

There are two versions of the DRLY terminal board:

• H1A has higher-powered relay contacts than H1B.
• H1B is suitable for use in UL listing for Class I, Division 2 Hazardous (classified) locations.

INSTALLATION:

Through the four mounting holes in the corners of the metal support plate, install the DRLY board by screwing it to the wall. Directly attach the wires for the 12 relay outputs to the terminal blocks' odd-numbered screws. High-density Euro-Block type terminal blocks are plugged into the board's numbered outlets. The SCOM (chassis ground) connection is secured using the two screws on TB2 and should be as close to the chassis as feasible.

OPERATION:

DRLY excludes solenoid source power. Each relay has a single pair of dry contacts with two NO contacts connected in sequence. Contrary to TRLY, there is no onboard suppression and no relay state monitoring. The 28 V dc power for the relay coils is supplied by the I/O board (VCCC, VCRC, or VTUR), and this is signaled by a green LED. Each relay on DRLY includes a yellow LED that flashes to show the voltage across the coil. The relays default to a de-energized state when the control cable is disconnected.
