• The Bently Nevada 7200 5mm / 8mm Series Proximity Transducer Systems measure static and dynamic distances between the probe tip and the observed target. The general application in any situation where an accurate, noncontact displacement measurement is required.
• However, the most common application is for measuring shaft position and vibration on rotating and reciprocating machinery. They are intended for use with a wide range of machines, including gas and steam turbines, compressors, pumps, centrifuges, electric motors, and generators. The system has a linear measuring range of 80 mils (2mm) and is API 670 compliant.
