Functional Description

125720-01 is a Relay I/O Module developed by Bently Nevada. It is a part of 4-Channel Relay Module. The system consists of full-size module with four relay outputs. In any of the slots to the right of the Rack Interface Module, any number of 4-Channel Relay Modules can be installed. The outputs can be independently programmed to perform required voting logic. Each relay has Alarm Drive Logic. The Alarm Drive Logic is programmed with AND and OR logic and can accept alarming inputs (alerts and dangers) from any monitor channel or combination of monitor channels in the rack. The 3500 is used in this Alarm Drive Logic programming.

  • OK LED: Illuminated when module is functioning properly.
  • TX/RX LED: Transmit and Receive. Flashes to indicate proper communications between this module and other modules within the rack.
  • CH ALARM LED: Illuminated when the Relay Channel is in an alarm state.

  • Sealing: Epoxy-sealed
  • Arc Suppressor: 250 Vrms, installed as standard.
  • Contact Life: 100,000 cycles at 5 A, 24 Vdc or 120 Vac.
  • Operation: Each channel is switch selectable for Normally De-energized or Normally Energized.

  • It serves as an interface between the control system and external electrical loads or devices.
  • The module features multiple relay circuits that enable the switching of electrical signals, allowing the control system to activate or deactivate the corresponding electrical loads. It acts as a relay control center, receiving control signals from the control system and providing reliable switching operations based on the specified logic and requirements.
  • The module is designed to ensure compatibility and seamless integration with Bently Nevada's system architecture and other components. It may utilize standard communication protocols and interfaces, making it easy to incorporate into existing control systems.
  • The module may also feature diagnostic capabilities, allowing for the monitoring of relay status and health. This ensures early detection of any abnormalities or faults in the relay circuits, enabling proactive maintenance and minimizing the risk of system failures.
