The GE DS3800NOAA is a Mark IV series operational amplifier board. The Mark IV was created to manage steam/gas turbines and has increased efficiency due to less downtime. Integrated printed circuit boards with intentional duplications of essential control and protection parameters keep the system running even if one board fails. To boost efficiency, the system can also automate some activities such as starting and shutdown.

• The board is equipped with a single amber LED that indicates that the board is in good working order. The top edge of the board is marked for alignment purposes.
• Extractor clips give the technician a grip or a lever to use while installing or removing the board from tight spaces, preventing damage to the circuitry due to handling.
• The board is equipped with an auxiliary board that can be purchased separately. Two rows of board-to-board pins connect this board to the primary.
• Four nylon pins can be put into four pre-drilled holes in the board to support the auxiliary.
• The board has access to the power of six additional trim potentiometers, as well as several quick-connect screw mounts after the auxiliary board is added.
• There are thirteen TP test locations on the board. There is only one PCB mating connector (218A4553-Amp.) It is made up of six integrated circuits and one transistor.
