Functional Description

DS3800HSAA is a Servo Interface Card developed by GE. It is a part of Mark IV control system. The component functions as a Dom Plus Servo Amp Board. Despite the obsolescence of the series, the GE Speedtronic Mark IV Gas Turbine Control System remains a reliable solution. This series provides a strong and dependable control system that is perfectly suited to its application.

Features

  • On one end, it has a modular connector, and on the other, it has retention levers. A heat sink is surrounded by a component on the board.
  • The analog/digital converter is a board-mounted component. It also has one 34-pin connector and one socket for electrically erasable programmable read-only memory modules.
  • When removing the board from the drive, use caution. To remove the board, turn off the power to the drive. Some power sources are alternating current (AC), while others are direct current (DC). The drive receives voltage from several sources, all of which must be disconnected. Use a full-featured testing device before touching any components in the drive to ensure that all power has been removed.
  • There is one relay switch on the GE Dom Plus Servo Amp Board. The relay switch receives control signals that tell it whether to open or close a circuit. This circuit regulates a drive device. There are also several jumpers on the board. The jumpers are all three-pin jumpers.
  • The jumper always covers two of the pins. The jumper causes a circuit to be formed between the two covered pins, which defines the configuration setting. The jumper can be used to connect pins 1 and 2 or pins 2 and 3. The jumpers' names begin with the letter J. The letter J is a prefix that is followed by a number. Jumper IDs such as J1, J2, and J5 are examples.
