FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION:
IC200PWR102 is a Genius Network Interface Module manufactured and designed by GE Mark II Series as part of the GE Speedtronic Gas Turbine Control Systems. 120/240VAC Expanded 3.3 Power Supply provides backplane power for CPU, NIU, and I/O modules. It supplies up to 1.5 Amps output current via 3.3 Volt and 5 Volt outputs, with up to 1.0 Amp on the 3.3V output. Module backplane current consumption is summarized in Appendix C. The power supply module is primarily designed to provide power to the VersaMax backplane, enabling the connected modules to energize their internal circuits for proper functioning. This module operates when connected to an external power source that supplies 85-132 VAC (nominal 120 VAC) or 176-264 VAC (nominal 240 VAC), with an input frequency range of 47-63 Hz and an input power of 27 VA. It outputs a voltage of 5 VDC and 3.3 VDC, with current outputs of 1.5 Amperes at 5 VDC and 1.0 Ampere at 3.3 VDC. However, the total current output must not exceed 1.5 Amperes. The input voltage selection is configured using a jumper on two terminals located to the right of the ground terminal. When the jumper is installed, the module is set to accept 120 VAC, and when it is removed, the module is configured for 240 VAC. It is commonly used with VersaMax input/output modules, Network Interface Units (NIUs), Intelligent Modules, and Central Processing Units (CPUs).
JUMPER SELECTION OF 120VAC OR 240VAC:
This power supply can be used with either 120VAC or 240VAC nominal input power. For 120VAC nominal operation, a jumper should be installed as marked on the power supply. The power supply operates without a jumper installed; however, the hold-up specification is not met. If a jumper is not installed for 120VAC operation, the power supply will not cause hazardous conditions.

What is the purpose of the 120/240VAC Expanded 3.3V Power Supply Module?
The 120/240VAC Expanded 3.3V Power Supply Module is designed to provide stable power to VersaMax backplane systems. This power supply module is crucial for powering the internal circuitry of various installed modules within the system. It ensures that the modules operate correctly by delivering appropriate power for their functions, enabling seamless communication and processing between different modules, including Network Interface Units (NIUs), Intelligent Modules, and Central Processing Units (CPUs).
What are the input and output specifications for the module?
The module requires an input power of 27 VA and an input frequency range of 47-63 Hz. The input voltage can either be in the range of 85-132 VAC (nominal 120 VAC) or 176-264 VAC (nominal 240 VAC), based on the jumper configuration. The power supply module delivers an output voltage of 5 VDC and 3.3 VDC, with 1.5 Amperes maximum at 5 VDC and 1.0 Ampere maximum at 3.3 VDC. The module ensures that both output currents combined do not exceed 1.5 Amperes.
How is the input voltage configured on the IC200PWR102 module?
The input voltage selection for the module is configured using a jumper located on the right side of the ground terminal. When a jumper is installed across the two terminals, the module will accept 120 VAC (nominal). Conversely, when the jumper is removed, the module is set to accept 240 VAC (nominal). This jumper-based selection allows the module to be compatible with both 120 VAC and 240 VAC power sources, depending on the system requirements.
