DS3800NGMA1B1A is a General-purpose multiply board developed by General Electric. The card is designed as part of their Speedtronic Mark IV system. This system, which was designed for gas/steam turbine control management, ensures that the system operates safely. For better management control, it can also automate some procedures such as start-up and shutdown.

  • The board has been designed to accept the DS3800DGPA auxiliary board. The auxiliary board offers the card access to more components, including six trimpot potentiometers and several snap-in PCB screw mounts, when it's installed.
  • The auxiliary is held at each corner by nylon spacers that are already put in the motherboard if it is installed. Two lines of metal pins, totaling twenty-eight, hold it in place. The PCB has thirteen TP test points, one amber LED (designated "Imok"), one transistor, one female 28-pin Augat connection, five integrated circuits, and one male connector (218A4553-1 A/mp.) Four rotary potentiometers and four jumper switches are included.
  • A PCB reinforcement bar is added along the top edge of the component. This stiffens the board and inhibits its flexing ability. The board is marked for alignment. Each corner has been factory drilled. The right-hand corners have extractor clips added. By allowing technicians to 'lever out' the board from confined spaces, these clips assist safeguard circuitry during installation and withdrawal. Various resistors, diodes, and capacitors are used to populate the board.
