Adjustable Time Ranges

To offer flexibility and fine control over the delay timing, the card provides two selectable timing ranges controlled by the connection at a specific pin (Pin R):

  • Short Range (Pin R Open): Adjustable from 1 to 25 seconds, allowing for precise short delays suitable for fast control sequences.
  • Long Range (Pin R connected to N12V): Adjustable from approximately 20 seconds up to 5 minutes, ideal for longer delay requirements.

Multiple Timing Circuits and Extended Delay

  • It contains four independent timing circuits on a single card, enabling multiple time delay functions in a compact form.
  • One of these circuits uniquely provides an eight-count counter feature for extending the effective time delay beyond the maximum of the single timer:
  • By feeding the output of this circuit back into one of its inputs, the timer cycles eight times before finally resetting the output to 0.
  • This cascading effect can extend the total delay up to approximately 40 minutes, offering enhanced flexibility for complex turbine control sequences that require extended timing intervals.
