Functional Description

DS200SVMAG1A is a SRC Voltage Monitor Board developed by GE. It is a part of General Electric Drive Control system.

Features

  • Termination boards installed in 13- or 12-slot VME card racks supply inputs to the central control module. Using a linked Operator Interface, which gives the operator access to software maintenance tools, this accumulated data can be retrieved.
  • This little supplementary card is little. It performs the role of a voltage monitor. It has a board connector (P1) with ten pins that switch between the card's front and rear. The pins that protrude from the board's end will be used to solder the auxiliary board into place. Two factory-made drill holes on the board can be used to mount drills for additional board support.
  • The board has the markings 94-v0, ttm4-10, and FA/00.

System Controller Inspection

  • Check the controller's components for any possible shipping-related damage. Look for frayed or disconnected wires, connectors, or loose parts like relays or retainer clips.
  • An appropriate ground point, preferably plant ground grid, must be connected to the ground lug in the bottom of the controller.

System core features

  • There are numerous cores in the system controller. Cores are sheet metal housings with card carriers that hold printed wiring board (PWB) holders.
  • Five boards can be put in the card carriers of a core at most. Moreover, a single core can support up to four high-density IO terminal boards. The combination of boards in a core is determined by the purpose for which it is intended.
