DS200KLDCG1A is a Key/LED/Display Board manufactured by General Electric as part of the Mark V Series used in gas turbine control management systems.  It has 32 LEDs, 21 4-character displays, and one jumper. On the back of the board, there is also a 40-pin connection strip. The 4-character displays, as well as the 32 LEDs, are used to display information about the drive's operation. As a result, the board is installed in a location on the drive where the operator can see it. The nomenclature DS1-DS32 is used to identify each LED on the card. Two wires connect to the board via the L1 part.

DS200KLDCG1A Features

  • The board measures 8.5 inches by 11 inches and has holes in all four corners. Several aspects of the board must be considered before installing the drive. First, take note of where the original board is installed and whether or not screws are used to secure it. Make sure you have a screwdriver on hand to loosen and remove the screws.
  • Take note of any cables that are attached to it. Attach a small strip of paper or a tag to the cables that indicate which connector the cable is connected to. The connectors are all labeled with an identifier, which you should write down on the tag.
  • Take note of which pins on the jumper are covered. Before installing the replacement, place the jumper over the same pins as the old board to ensure that the board is configured correctly. Remove the four screws from the old board with the screwdriver. Keep the four screws and any washers that were attached together.
  • Screws are inserted into the four holes in each corner of the board to secure it to the drive cabinet. The holes line up with the screw holes in the drive's cabinet rack. Before you remove the faulty board, take note of where it is installed and how the cables are routed in the cabinet.
  • Cable routing is important because it protects the drive from high-voltage current interference caused by a signal cable that is too close to a high-voltage cable. Additionally, cable routing aids in maintaining proper air flow. Improper cable routing may obstruct airflow and cause components to overheat.
