Technical Specifications

Manufacturer: General Electric

Part No.: DS200AAHAH1A

Product Type: ARCNET & ETHERNET RELAY CARD

Series: Mark V

DS200AAHAH1A - The GE ARCNET Connection Board (AAHA) for the Mark V LM series of Speedtronic hardware.
  • The DS200AAHAH1A is a PCB that can be used as an interface unit to connect a variety of I/O cores and external devices to the Control Engine. The ARCNET is connected through the AAHA. In the core, two AAHA boards are employed. One serves as a liaison between the core and the user interfaces. This board is connected to a UCPB daughterboard on a UCIA board in the core through an APL connector.
  • The second is used to connect between a COREBUS and the core. It also makes communication between I/O cores and the Control Engine in the core easier. This board's APL is connected to a PANA daughterboard.
  • On the top side, the DS200AAHAH1A is a tiny PCB with three communications interfaces. The left port, which is identified as an EBNC port, is rarely utilized. Aside from the EBNC, there are ARCBNC-A and ARCBNC-B ports allowing ARCNET communication.
  • A 2-pin 2PL connection port is located on the bottom right-hand side. In the center is an APL 10-pin connecting port. This port can communicate with boards that contain ARCNET drivers that are situated in the core. There is a 9-pin EPL connector in the bottom left corner that is not used.
  • On the top side of the DS200AAHAH1A, there are three communications ports. The left port, which is identified as an EBNC port, is barely used. ARCBNC-A and ARCBNC-B ports, in addition to the EBNC, are ARCNET communication connectors.
  • A 2-pin 2PL connection port is located on the bottom right of the device. APL's 10-pin connection interface is located in the center. This port can communicate with boards in the core that have ARCNET drivers. A 9-pin EPL connection is located in the bottom left corner and is likewise unconnected.
