20929-02 Features

  • For machines that only require a linear range of 40 to 50 mils, the Bently Nevada 3000 and 7000 Series Proximity Transducer Systems are perfect for sensing radial vibration and thrust position movements. The 3000 Series Proximity Probes are based on the same technology as the Bently Nevada 7200 Series Proximity Probes, but without any moving parts.
  • Unlike other transducer types like shaft riders, linear variable differential transformers (LVDT), and potentiometers, they are not susceptible to mechanical wear. Proximity transducers from the 3000 and 7000 Series are not intended for use in installations of the API 670 variety.
  • Proximity transducer systems from the 3000 and 7000 Series provide vibration and location data for monitoring and diagnostics. For identifying certain machine issues, you receive measures of the vibration's amplitude, frequency, phase angle, and other rotor properties. You are able to assess both dynamic motion and static shaft position because of the typical response range of 0 Hz to 10 kHz. The 190 or 300 probes are used with the 3000 Series transducer systems. The 300 probe is used in 7000 Series transducer systems. A proximity probe, extension cable, and Proximitor make up each transducer system.
  • The 7200 Series and 9000 Series Monitoring Systems can be utilized in conjunction with any 3000 and 7000 Series transducer system.
